This Sunrise Journey is one of the most popular bicycle tours on Maui. Your tour begins at the House of the Sun Visitor Center where you enjoy hot coffee, juice and pastries and receive a comprehensive safety briefing. Certified tour guides will provide you with a history of Haleakala, its geology and an explanation of rare plants and animals only found on Maui. Your mountain guides will escort you to the rim of the crater to view sunrise at 10,000 feet. Following sunrise you will be expertly fitted to your bicycle and begin your 38-mile bike ride down the slopes of Haleakala-the worlds largest dormant volcano.
