Kauai’s verdant North Shore, this relaxed resort is perched amidst lush
tropical gardens on the cliffs above scenic Hanalei Bay. A freeform pool
with a sandy bottom features cascading waterfalls and an open-air spa tub
grotto. Paths lined with foliage wind down the hillside to the palm-fringed

This relaxed retreat within the posh
Princeville community encompasses 16 low-rise stucco buildings on 22 lush
acres above Hanalei Bay. An open-air lobby, restaurants, and lounge overlook
Bali Hai mountain. Leisure travelers, families, and celebrating couples
looking for value, seclusion, and old-style Hawaii accommodations frequent
this hotel.
Tropical
gardens with plumeria trees, orchids, and other island species surround this
hotel’s 16 three-story buildings. A freeform pool with a sandy bottom has
waterfalls and a spa tub grotto. There are eight tennis courts, with tennis
pro on site daily for lessons and coaching (surcharges). Walking and jogging
paths lead down to a palm-fringed beach with panoramic views of Hanalei Bay.
An open-air lounge features live Hawaiian music nightly with jazz jam

The
focal point of this tropical retreat is a freeform lagoon pool with
waterfalls, an outdoor spa tub grotto, and a sandy bottom. Walking and
jogging paths meander through the lush gardens to the beach below. Eight
tennis courts are available for play, with a tennis pro on site daily for
coaching and lessons (surcharges). Beach activity specialists ren water
sports equipment and can arrange cruises, kayaking, and excursions
(surcharges).
Hanalei Bay Resort is located within the Princeville Resort, which hosts
two championship golf courses, a health spa, tennis center, and horse
stables, which are open to the public (surcharges for all). Within a
15-minute drive of the hotel is Ke’e Beach State Park, Na Pali Coast State
Park, Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, and Limahuli Botanical
Gardens.
